We currently seek a Bid Manager with the purpose of the role being to assist the Director of Business Development and the sales team as they strive for additional contract wins within the Print Management / BPO sector.
The key objective is to carry out the management of the bid and knowledge management function. This extremely varied role requires the Bid Manager to provide support in the overall delivery of the Group’s business development objectives, whilst implementing departmental procedures in line with Company standards.
The Bid Manager will assess tender documentation & requirements and ensure all supplementary information is in place within the bid; will ensure projects are run in a controlled manner following departmental guidelines and methodology; will liaise with senior representatives internally and with supply chain and customers; will drive the bid team to achieve deadlines; will manage the editorial process for the bid throughout it’s full lifecycle and will produce tender documentation in line with Company standards for live bids including bid preparation, non-technical information, formatting, quality control and bid submission.
Interested Candidates will ideally hold a degree in Business Management, Business Systems, Business Communications or Marketing; will possess a minimum of three years sales or operational support-related experience; have excellent MS Word, Access, Excel and PowerPoint skills; have the ability to work well under pressure independently, perform and manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines whilst communicating effectively & clearly and having the ability to interact and communicate with all levels of staff and management.
