Our Client, a £10million Midlands based printer, requires a Supply Chain / Commercial Executive to support both the Supply Chain Manager and the Commercial Manager in creating Client estimates, sourcing costs for external goods from – and raising orders to – external Suppliers, in addition to all other day to day tasks to be carried out in the role.
The incumbent will be the dedicated first point of contact for all estimate requirements and will be responsible for providing accurate, fast response quotations, whilst raising all order paperwork for externally required goods in order to allow the Commercial Manager to concentrate on their Vision In Print initiative as a full time role and the SCM to continue to concentrate on generating savings and extra profit generation on external client requirements.
This is a key role requiring print (and in an ideal world, Mailing) based experience with a good commercial acumen.
We therefore seek an individual with good written and verbal communication skills, together with excellent spreadsheet and e-mail inbox folder management ability. The sought Candidate must have a good, flexible work ethic, have a keen eye for detail and possess a can do attitude.
