We are currently working with an internationally renowned organisation (a major player within the printed communication sector in both the UK and overseas) as they have identified a significant opportunity within a niche market, resulting in the creation of a new division providing a Warehouse and Fufilment solution.
This new division is key to the transformation of our Client from a manufacturer of commodity products to an integrated solution provider, with this solution running in parallel with other divisions to offer a complete one stop shop to their customers.
Our Client already has the key skills base required with a substantial knowledge of warehouse procedures and stock management aligned with systems and reports to support this activity, but to assist with their growth plans, they now need an ambitious, energetic, driven sales professional possessing a wealth of experience from within this arena (warehousing / fulfilment / pick and pack), who can assist with the creation of both the Sales & Marketing plan, as well as with the development of the solution internally and commercially.
We therefore require a sales orientated Business Sector Manager, responsible for developing a Sales and Marketing plan for the Warehouse and Fulfilment Service which will encompass new business development, upselling into existing accounts and cross selling to a new Client base. The BSM will actively and successfully manage the full sales process i.e. lead generation; credentials pitch; asking questions; solution pitch; negotiation; close; followed by a handover to the account management team.
The sought individual will be self motivated and possess drive, energy and acute attention to detail, ensuring all sales opportunities are captured and explored.
