Our Client is a leading global branded business, with the strategy in place to drive expansion through the introduction of an innovative range of exciting new products.
As part of this process they are looking to recruit a Packing Innovation Manager to join their Global Development Team.
This is a key role which will essentially position you as the “stand alone packaging expert” within the organisation.
Therefore you will need to be passionate about:
- Packaging trends and industry innovations
- Driving Innovation and converting business ideas into technical solutions.
- Delivering solutions that are both outstanding and unique.
To fulfil the role you will have:
- Experience of working within a packaging innovation team, ideally within the FMCG environment.
- Detailed understanding of paper based and laminate packaging solutions.
- Experience of costing projects/packaging solutions and delivering against budget.
- A technical background with the ability to understand engineering drawings and packaging specifications.
- Handled complex multiple projects within the FMCG industry.
- Developed packaging solutions that are optimised in Supplier, machine application and supply terms.
- Literacy in MS systems, CAPE & Adobe Illustrator.
- Flexibility to travel domestically and internationally.
- A degree in packaging, material science, engineering or equivalent.
