Our Client, a market leading, award wining POP supplier are looking to recruit a Packaging/POS Structural Design Engineer.
This exciting opportunity has come about due to their continued growth and expanded product range, which will not only attract new business but will also provide existing clients with additional services.
They require an expert in corrugated packaging for temporary POS units, who has the ability to interface with Designers, Marketing, Brand Development, Consumer Research and Suppliers, in order to create and promote exciting, consumer focused, innovative solutions for their Clients..
You will need to:
• Provide technical knowledge and support into POS design, whilst understanding the manufacturing process and development to allow the most efficient and effective solutions.
• Have experience of working with the marketing department, design team, liaising with Clients and the consumers, in order to come up with new innovative POS units.
• Ensure that POS solutions are suitable both for its function and in meeting the requirements of the Clients.
• Keep abreast of new technology and design trends, which could be relevant to future projects.
• Be able to manage complex projects in order to deliver the Clients requirements on time and within budget.
• Manage relationships within the internal team, as well as with external suppliers and consultants, to ensure that they deliver as planned.
• Have the ability to work as part of a cross-functional team, communicating technical information effectively to people who are not technically trained.
• Have a number of years experience working within corrugated structural design with strong experience in CAD software – Artios CAD, Kasemake or Impact CAD.
