In this role you will work with clients and production to provide support for facilitating the sales process. In order to meet your personal revenue target you will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of key accounts through lead generation, securing new business with major global clients (i.e. Fortune 500) and carrying out research and analysis in order to identify new potential markets and customers. Although the focus will be on translation services the candidate will also be expected to introduce complementary services offered by the business. This effort includes performing customer presentations/pitches, discussing workflow processes, answering technical questions on terminology glossaries and translation memories, preparing RFI/RFP responses, and being involved in closing deals. In addition, the Sales Manager will gather specific customer requirements for extending and integrating the solution to meet their multilingual document management needs. Experience in the Financial and/or Pharmaceutical industries and/or Corporate Accounts either directly or through previous roles within the translation industry would be a necessity.


The successful candidate must be fluent in Japanese and English, both spoken and written, with additional languages being an added advantage. Resourcefulness, sales skills and the ability to coordinate activities across company functions. Some familiarity & knowledge of document types and workflow process associated with multilingual documentation for the financial, legal, life-sciences, Insurance, technology and corporate communication markets.
