Due to the acquisition of another Pan European contract an opportunity exists to join a multi-national organisation, as we seek a Print Production Manager to be based in Dusseldorf.


The sought individual will be required to join the team responsible for managing, maintaining and developing the relationship with the Client and will be expected to:


• Expand and develop the network of local, preferred print suppliers.
• Work with our Client’s central team to audit print suppliers prior to selection and to re-audit on a periodic basis.
• Challenge print specifications at the beginning of the process & make recommendations to optimise print & reduce cost – be actively involved with customers agency(s) when they are discussing campaign proposals
• Ensure a “project plan & timeline” is in place for each order and that all parties meet delivery schedules, specifications, price and quality levels
• Where appropriate (due to size of order or critical nature of order) attend press-pass and approve quality
• Actively communicate with agency and customer throughout process – anticipate issues and put in place corrective actions – actively manage quality and delivery times
• Pro-actively work on an audit of all printed documents to rationalise and standardise where appropriate.


The role may be based at our Clients office or at customer site, depending on customer requirement.

• possessing an extensive print production management background, with pre-media / agency experience proving advantageous.

• having local language skills plus fluent spoken and written English (essential)

• able and willing to travel as necessary to do the job


In addition applicants should have strong communication skills with agencies, customer (marketing, procurement and production teams), printers & other suppliers.
