Our client is a major global multi million pound financial / legal services organisation, whose primary sectors include e-Discovery / litigation arena. It is within this part of the business that they are looking to develop further and require two additional account/business development managers to help in this process. The primary responsibility of the role is to professionally account manage and develop allocated client accounts. This includes the initial sale, all continuing business and all client interaction (training included).

Major Activities and Responsibilities:

  • You will proactively manage a list of defined clients with special attention paid to profit margin and develop and explore all sections of the business that have revenue potential, organise meetings with those relevant sections to become the expert ‘go to’ contact.
  • You will be responsible for selling all areas of the business with particular attention being paid to court reporting and transcription but also in growing areas such as litigation support
  • You are required to develop an in-depth knowledge of the Marketplace, competitors and to be up-to-date on all significant sales activity occurring in the department
  • You will work very closely with the Sales Managers and Pre-sales engineers, when you are looking to develop clients further.

Skills/Knowledge required:

  • Strong communication skills and relationship management ability
  • Demonstrable track record in account management with proven revenue success
  • Competitor knowledge and litigation support systems would be advantageous
  • Account Management/presentation skills

The client is also willing to consider individuals with a superb track record in account management / business development (existing accounts), that are from within the corporate / financial services world, as they are willing to train on the legal products they offer.

The successful applicant will receive a basic salary of up to £45,000 + an excellent uncapped commission/bonus structure, as well as the entitlement to company benefits.
